Inspired in the beautiful shape of the sea limpets. Carefully handcrafted to reproduce the shell's intricate texture.

Available in sterling silver with 2 precious metal platings: 18k yellow gold, or rhodium.

LORENA JIJÓN

 Designer, Goldsmith & Creative Director

Lorena Jijón is an Ecuadorian based Jewelry Designer and goldsmith with a significative trajectory in the jewelry business. Her passion for this artistic craft has been cultivated with an extensive academic training: in 2006 Lorena graduated with honors as a jewelry technologist in the Ibero-American University of Ecuador. In 2009, she graduated as a jewelry designer from Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan-Italy, where she got the "Lode" (the highest academic achievement). In 2011, the designer was awarded with a full scholarship to do the master’s degree in luxury design at the Creative Academy from the Richemont group in Milan, she graduated with honors.

Before starting her own jewelry company, Lorena collaborated as an intern in the Italian high jewelry brand Mariani and in the renowned high jewelry firm Van Cleef and Arpels in Paris, where she designed high jewelry watches for the Charms Extraordinaires Collection. The designer also collaborated as an external consultant for Dada Arrigoni in Bergamo-Italy and an Ecuadorian renowned jewelry company.

In 2014, the designer moved to New York and worked as a jewelry designer at the recognized fashion brand Michael Kors (Fossil Group). Inside the design team, she collaborated with the design of the seasonal jewelry collections of 2015 and 2016.

Currently, Lorena lives in her hometown Quito, where she creates and develops the jewelry collections for her own brand: Lorena Jijón Jewelry Design.
